DESCRIPTION:The Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is intended for anyone involved in childcare who has a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes\, but is not limited to: childcare workers\, teachers\, camp counselors\, youth organizations\, and coaches. It’s also ideal for: moms\, dads\, grandmas\, grandpas\, babysitters\, nannies\, and guardians. SUMMARY:JC Bump and Baby-Bottle Feeding Support Group
DESCRIPTION:This monthly support group is led by Jayne Freeman\, postpartum doula and lactation counselor. It is additional support for all moms who are feeding by bottle – whether that’s breastmilk or formula. (we hope to see you at our weekly group as well) \nSome moms who are bottle-feeding need a more specific and directed style of support\, plus the ability to ask questions to their peers who usually have much to share on the topic. Though we will devote time to topic of feeding in this session all other topics that impact new moms will also be explored: Partner support\, back-to-work\, physical adjustments\, and sleep issues\, for example. New Moms Support Groups have been shown to reduce anxiety and minimize postpartum mood disorders.
