LH – Loose Leash Training Crash Course

Join LH and Hudson Barks with your pup for a loose leash training class!
The workshop will cover all positive reinforcement. An overview of the use of a marker, use of food and other reinforcers, getting attention, how to manage distractions, loose leash walking, and the basics/string foundation for teaching commands.

After registering, you will be sent a Google Form to complete your reservation.
For dogs over 5 months. Must be fully Vaccinated.
Your dog should be able to work in close proximity with other dogs with a moderate focus on the handler.
Ideally, have completed some basic positive reinforcement basic obedience training (but not required).
The workshop is NOT appropriate for dogs who bark excessively, growl, and/or otherwise known as reactive to other dogs or humans.
Food-motivated dogs are highly desirable to the learning process with distractions!
We require your dog to have a HARNESS, COLLAR, and LEASH
We highly recommend you have A TREAT POUCH AND TREATS AT HAND.
NO PRONG COLLARS OR SHOCK COLLARS
